Junting Orbit is a job-hunting assistant that combines a browser extension and web app to help you track jobs, capture job descriptions, analyze resumes with AI, and generate application materials across job platforms.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, data gathered automatically when you use the Service, details from identity providers such as Google, and extension-specific data needed to power job-hunting features.

2.1 Information you provide directly

• Account information: name, email, profile photo, and authentication details (for example, if you sign up using an email and password or via social login).
• Job-hunting data: job listings, URLs, statuses, notes, tags, flags, and preferences that you save or update in the Service.
• Resume and profile data: uploaded resumes, parsed resume fields, and profile details you enter or edit (such as work experience, skills, and links).
• AI interaction data: job descriptions, prompts, feedback, and AI-generated outputs used to analyze fit, suggest improvements, or generate application materials.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the web app or extension, we may automatically collect certain technical data, such as:

• Device and browser type and version.
• IP-based approximate location (city/region level).
• Access times, pages or screens viewed, and navigation paths.
• Error, performance, and diagnostic information to keep the Service secure and reliable.

2.3 Information collected via Google Sign-In

If you sign in with Google or a similar provider, we receive information such as:

• Google account ID.
• Name and email address.
• Profile image (if available).

We do not access your Gmail contents, Calendar, Drive files, or other unrelated Google data. The provider's own privacy policy (for example, Google's Privacy Policy) governs their handling of your data.

2.4 Information collected via the browser extension

The Junting Orbit browser extension runs in your browser to enhance your job-hunting workflow on supported job sites.

The extension may:

• Read and analyze the content of job-related pages on supported job platforms (for example: job titles, company names, locations, job descriptions, and application links).
• Capture the URL of visited job postings in order to track jobs, show status, and provide analysis.
• Insert Junting Orbit UI elements into job pages (such as buttons or panels) so you can save and manage jobs directly from those sites.

The extension does not:

• Collect or store your full browsing history.
• Read or store content from unrelated pages that are not job postings or part of supported job platforms.
• Read or store passwords or payment card details.
• Use your data for third-party advertising, ad targeting, or cross-site tracking.

You can disable or remove the extension at any time from your browser's extensions management page. Once removed, the extension no longer has access to any page content.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Power AI-driven analysis and content generation (for example, resume parsing, job fit scoring, and draft application materials).
• Personalize your experience, such as remembering your preferences and saved jobs.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical issues.
• Improve the Service through analytics and product development.
• Communicate with you about updates, changes, security notices, and support requests.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
