Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You may use Junting Orbit only if all of the following are true:

• You are at least 16 years old or the age of legal majority where you live, whichever is higher.
• You have the authority to enter into a binding agreement.
• If you use the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity, and the term "you" also covers that entity.

2. Account registration and security

To access many features, you must create an account or sign in through Google or another supported identity provider. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
• Keep your login credentials and devices secure and confidential.
• Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Description of the Service

Junting Orbit offers tools to streamline your job search, including:

• Browser extension enhancements on supported job boards and career sites, such as "mark as applied" buttons, job capture tools, and in-page panels.
• Web application features for tracking roles, saving job details, storing resumes, and managing your application pipeline.
• AI-powered analysis and content generation, such as ATS fit scoring, strengths/weaknesses flags, and draft cover letters.

We may update, modify, or discontinue portions of the Service at any time, including adding or removing features or integrations.

4. Plans, payments, and subscriptions

If you purchase a paid plan, pricing and billing intervals will be shown during checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time and generally retain access through the current billing period.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated at the time of purchase. You remain responsible for all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to do any of the following:

• Use Junting Orbit for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activities.
• Access, or attempt to access, accounts, data, or systems that are not yours or that you are not authorized to access.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
• Circumvent technical protections, rate limits, or access controls.
• Use the Service to generate spam, abusive messages, or misleading or deceptive information for employers or other third parties.
• Use AI outputs in ways that violate job board terms, employer policies, anti-discrimination rules, or applicable laws.
• Misuse the browser extension to scrape or harvest data beyond what is reasonably necessary for personal job-hunting purposes.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if your use risks harm to us, other users, or third parties.

6. User content

"User Content" means any data you submit to or through the Service, including job records, notes, tags, statuses, resumes, profiles, prompts, AI outputs, feedback, and support communications. You retain ownership of your User Content.

By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify (for example, formatting or parsing), and process your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the Service; to provide AI features; and to comply with legal obligations.

Where feasible, we may use aggregated or anonymized data derived from User Content for analytics, benchmarking, and product improvement, provided it does not reasonably identify you.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content:

• Does not violate any third-party rights or agreements.
• Complies with confidentiality, intellectual property, and privacy obligations.
• Is lawful in the jurisdictions where you use the Service.

7. AI features and generated content

Junting Orbit uses third-party AI models and services to analyze text and generate outputs (for example, resume parsing, ATS scores, and draft messages). AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or outdated.

The Service does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice. You remain solely responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content and deciding how to use it, including in applications, communications, and decisions you make.

We do not guarantee job offers, interviews, or specific outcomes, and you should not rely on AI outputs as your only source of truth for critical decisions.

8. Browser extension permissions

The browser extension requests permissions to read and modify data on supported job boards and related sites in order to:

• Detect and capture job-related details (such as job title, company name, location, and job description) on job posting pages.
• Insert Junting Orbit interface elements (such as buttons or panels) into those pages.
• Send relevant job-related page data to our servers for storage, analysis, and AI processing.

We strive to request the minimum permissions necessary for the extension to function. You can disable or remove the extension at any time via your browser's extensions settings, after which it will no longer have access to page content.

You agree not to modify, repackage, resell, or redistribute the extension except where expressly permitted under applicable open source licenses or these Terms.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, trademarks, branding, and content other than User Content, belongs to Junting Orbit or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Install and use the browser extension from official distribution channels (such as the Chrome Web Store) for your personal or internal business job-hunting purposes.
• Access and use the web application in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or remove proprietary notices from any part of the Service, except as expressly permitted by us or by applicable law.

10. Third-party services and links

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services such as job boards, identity providers, analytics tools, or AI platforms. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, terms, or practices.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. It is your responsibility to review and comply with those terms.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.

We do not guarantee job offers, interview outcomes, ATS interpretations, specific improvements in job-hunting success, or uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.

You use the Service at your own risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so the above exclusions may not apply to you in full.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Junting Orbit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of:

• The amount you paid for access to the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
• Fifty (50) euros (or local equivalent) if you use a free plan.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Junting Orbit and its owners, employees, and contractors harmless from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service.
• Your User Content.
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
• Your reliance on or use of AI-generated outputs in communications with employers or other third parties.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we decide to discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete your User Content from active systems, subject to our backup practices and legal retention obligations.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will remain in effect.

15. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. When we update these Terms, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice where changes are material.

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective means you agree to the revised Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require a different forum.
